Nobel Peace Prize given to Nihon Hidankyo for work to halt nuclear weapons

The Japanese grassroots movement of atomic bomb survivors from Hiroshima and Nagasaki received the prize for its efforts to achieve a world free of nuclear weapons, the Nobel committee said.
